Poggio del Gallo exceeded all of our expectations. On the day of our arrival Davide called us to ask if we would like to dine at the agriturismo. We said yes and it was the right choice. Davide's cooking left us speechless. Simple, refined, cultured. We couldn't help but stay for dinner the next-last night of our stay. And what about the room, taken care of down to the last detail, and the pool overlooking the Iblei mountains? We can't wait to return.

Memorable location: everything perfect and in tune with the surroundings, utmost cleanliness and impeccable services. The pool a little gem to enjoy with a breathtaking view. Spacious, modern and well furnished rooms. The top, however, is the cuisine: local food (even from the estate's own garden), extreme care and delicious flavors, as only a chef like Davide can achieve! Recommended to those who, like us, are looking for tranquility and immersion in bucolic Sicilian nature.

If you are looking for peace, silence and need to unplug from the hectic life this is the ideal place. The owners of the facility then are kind and helpful and will make you feel at home. Excellent breakfasts, with homemade jams and many other goodies, sweet and savory. Tastefully decorated rooms with adjoining terrace and impeccable cleanliness. Closes all the infinity pool: beautiful.

In my travels I always look for places to stay that I like to define as places of the soul, for the warmth they transmit, the discreet and profound beauty, the authenticity they express, the richness they give. Poggio del Gallo, immersed in the splendid Ragusa countryside, is among them: full of archaic charm, simple and refined, no frills yet well cared for, you feel at home, but relaxed because you are on holiday, among old friends, with whom you can talk about everything with the same language and the same feeling; because this happens with Cristina and Davide, the owners of this place that tells of radical life experiences and choices made with a spirit of adventure and lightness, but in a conscious and profound way. And, dulcis in fundo, the cuisine of Davide, a true enthusiastic and smiling chef, unmissable and of a high level: excellent dinners and breakfasts with quality ingredients and workmanship, which tell of a life lived among the flavours and aromas of starred cuisines and superfine wines, always remaining authentic and interpreted in a personal way. The magic that has conveyed to us this place is indescribable, starting from the 'welcome of the managers who make you feel like family and the care and attention they have towards customers, a continuous "pampering". The modern structure, tastefully furnished, complete with every comfort and located in the hills of Chiaramonte Gulfi, makes this place a paradise of total relaxation and intimacy. Super recommended also the dinner, of excellent quality and with a romantic atmosphere . It is one of those places that makes you cry in your heart to leave, but also one of those where you will surely return because it has left its mark. See you soon guys!

Beautiful place and very well cared for, the pool was very clean for guest use only ( wonderful ). The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was a perfect size with a nice shower. David and Cristina were very hospitable, the breakfast was plentiful and with a wide choice. We felt pampered. I would recommend it and hope to return.
